Metal-Blast has given unto you these fifteen...Oy! Ten! Ten commandments for all to obey!

1. Be nice to the newbies - People are more likely to continue to post here if they feel welcome and enjoy being here and we want as many people as possible on the Metal-Blast boards and chat. A newbie would be defined as someone who's been a member for less than 60 days or has less than 100 posts, whichever comes first.

2. Trolling is prohibited - A troll is “someone who posts controversial, inflammatory, irrelevant or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum or chat room, with the intention of provoking other users into an emotional response or to generally disrupt normal on-topic discussion”. Trolls will be banned.

3. No Spamming - Spam is the abuse of the message boards or chat by posting unsolicited bulk messages indiscriminately. Don't post the same statement, links, pictures, etc, in more than one location. If you do, they will be deleted and you will be banned.

4. Porn and Ultraviolent Content - You're encouraged to post all types of media including links, videos, pictures, etc but if you're going to post porn, nudity, excessively violent or any other Not Safe For Work (NSFW) content then please simply post a link to it only. Posting pictures and other media that are directly viewable on the message board is a bannable offense.

5. No personal information posted. Period. You have a beef with someone and resort to posting their personal address or other information deemed personal by a moderator or administrator regarding the person, their families or children, there will be NO warnings and you will be gone.

6. Stalking, harassment, bullying, continuing fights from other parts of the internet and other ways of making a members life miserable here is unacceptable. It's a messageboard, not real life.

7. Be cool - Threadjacking, arguments and flaming are all part of the game but remember, everyone is here to have fun so don't let it get out of hand. The more people that are allowed to have fun, the more fun this place will be.

8. Alternyms/Pseudonyms - These are secondary or alternate user accounts that are used by somebody who's already signed up with an account. We like the funny ones, the silly ones, the ones that make the board experience more interesting and fun. We don't like the ones that are meant to be hurtful and are used to negative things that the person doesn't have the guts to say with their main account. The cool ones will be allowed to stay, the others will be deleted, along with their creator.

9. Hate speech - We will not tolerate the propagation of hate based on race, color or creed. Openly discussing these topics in a mature manner is acceptable but blatent hate speech is not.

10. If your thread or post is deleted, the moderator or administrator had a reason for it. Don't ask why.
